Legal and Ethical Consideration When creating a short film, the production and marketing team need to take into consideration different regulations, ethical and legal issues surrounding the content within the product itself. this is vital ask we believe it is important to avoid any unnecessary complaints or legal action being directed at us. Additionally, we can ensure that language that may be deemed offensive to some groups can be limited. This is very relevant to our documentary as we plan on discussing specific topics such as murder and other crimes, which may not be appropriate for specific people, for example children under certain age. To avoid these problems, we looked at the BBFC age restricting chart and based our age rating off of what we believed they would rate our short film.
